Luis Hernandez has had an incredible influence on scores of young people. He has mentored and guided many of our participants. Most of all, he has led through the example of his work ethic and his integrity. Sam Gregory's daughter was so impacted by Luis that she wrote her college essay about the profound influence he had on her.

Dr. Jocelynne Rainey, Ed.D. is a leader in New York City's nonprofit sector and a seasoned executive with over 25 years of leadership experience. She has been a business leader and a change agent her entire adult life. As president & CEO, Dr. Rainey has led Brooklyn Org's bold evolution from Brooklyn Community Foundation to create a more inclusive and accessible model for community philanthropy.

This event will raise the funds needed to provide kids with transformative experiences in the rugged wilderness of Alaska THIS SUMMER

The night will include a panel conversation with program leaders, participants and alumni about what leading with action means inside the program. Plus, it’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate the participants about to embark on a life-changing experience this summer and the remarkable changemakers in our organization.
