Closing the adventure gap

We provide young people from Black and Brown communities of Brooklyn, a place where they can showcase their brilliance and have access to the wilderness classroom. Together, we can make the outdoors more equitable for everyone.

Next Generation of Leaders

With 16 years of experience providing recreational and excursion experiences in the Alaskan wilderness for youth from Brooklyn, BK2AK is now equipping our ‘graduates’ to become the next generation of outdoor leaders.

Life-changing experiences

Our expeditions provide hands-on education taught in the wilderness of Alaska, equipping young people with the transformational skills of resilience, grit, and self-reliance.
